FCA Allows UK Funds 10% Crypto Allocation Via ETNs Only
The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority is allowing investment funds to allocate up to 10% of assets to crypto ETNs, closing a gap where retail investors could already buy these products directly. The proposal, narrower than it appears, limits access to exchange-listed ETNs only and excludes certain fund types, with the 10% cap designed to prevent “restricted mass market” classification.
