I welcome open discussion, that’s what makes DodgeTheScam.com a real community rather than just another tech blog.
Your insights, experiences, and questions help others learn how to stay safe online.
That said, this space needs to stay safe and civil. Here’s how comments are handled 👇
1. Be Respectful
We all come from different experiences, especially when talking about scams, loss, or frustration.
Criticism is fine; insults, harassment, or hate speech are not. Comments that target individuals or groups will be deleted.
2. Stay on Topic
Comments should relate to the article or conversation. If you want to share something off-topic (like a personal story or tip), feel free to email me (see the Contact Page).
3. No Spam, Self-Promotion, or Affiliate Links
Links that exist only to advertise, promote, or redirect to other products or websites will be removed.
If you’re a writer or expert who genuinely wants to collaborate, use the Be a Guest Author contact link instead, not the comment box.
4. Privacy and Safety
Never share personal information (bank details, crypto wallet addresses, passwords, phone numbers, etc.) in comments.
If you need to report a scam, describe it generally, I’ll follow up privately if more details are needed.
5. Moderation
All comments are manually reviewed. That means your message might not appear right away, please don’t post it twice.
Comments that violate these guidelines may be edited or deleted at my discretion.
6. Liability
Opinions expressed in comments belong to the individual posters, not to DodgeTheScam.com.
While I do my best to moderate, I can’t take responsibility for user-submitted content.
7. Thank You
Thanks for helping keep this space open, useful, and scam-free.
Your stories and experiences make this project matter, and every thoughtful comment helps someone else dodge the next scam.
